Indian River Presbyterian Church (IRPC) is blessed to have a staff leadership team who are truly dedicated to Christ and accomplishing His will. Following are brief bio's of our staff and their qualifications for ministry.
Tim Norton
Lead Pastor

On July 19, 2020, Tim Norton was voted by the IRPC Congregation to be its new Lead Pastor and began his tenure on Sunday, September 6th. He and his wife, the Rev. Kendra Norton, have three beautiful children.
Alex Hagenbaumer
Director of Student & Young Adult Ministries

Gwen Hagenbaumer

Gwen has been on staff since 2005. She has three children. She feels blessed to be working with her youngest, Alex.
Larry Brown
Contemporary Music Director

Larry Brown has been leading worship music in Saint Lucie County churches since 2002. He has a rich history with IRPC, and returned to a staff position here in the summer of 2018. He views his role as an opportunity to invite people into God’s presence to see what HE wants to do in their lives.
Cathy Brown
Organist

Cathy retired from the St. Lucie County School Board in December 2014, serving as an Elementary Music Specialist for 30 years. In addition to our Organist and Choir accompanist for Traditional Worship, she also serves the Contemporary Service with Vocals and Keyboard.
Melanie Shrensel

Melanie Shrensel has been serving in Music Ministry at Indian River Presbyterian Church since 2005. She loves worshipping God with fellow church musicians and our IRPC church community. Melanie is also a retired public school elementary music educator. She is married to her husband, Bill, and treasures their golden retriever, Barney.
