Rev. Bryan Wenger was born and raised in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. He attended Grove City College in Western PA, and there completed his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. While at Grove City College, he was blessed to meet his wife, Jean. After graduation, Bryan worked as a CPA/Financial Analyst in the corporate world for nine years. In 1998, God called Bryan into full-time ministry and Bryan responded by attending Pittsburgh Theological Seminary and graduating with a Master’s of Divinity degree in 2001. Bryan’s first pastoral call was to Upsala Community Presbyterian Church in Sanford, Florida, where he served for 6 years. He then became the Associate Pastor at IRPC in 2007 and served in this role for six years. In September, 2013, he was installed as the Pastor-Head of Staff at IRPC. Pastor Bryan and Jean are blessed to be the parents to four children, Nicole, Brendan, Ally Joy, and Brett.
Rev. David Hancock, along with his wife Alyse, felt the call to pursue church planting in 2011. They were approved as church planters in 2013 by Mission to North America (a church planting assessment center). Since then they have received training through Global Church Advancement and also through a variety of other organizations.

Joshua Iley Harrison was born and raised in Panama City, Florida. He attended the University of Florida, where he completed a bachelor’s degree in music education. He has taught elementary music appreciation class and middle and high school choir in two school districts. Most recently, he has held the position of music teacher at Lawnwood Elementary school. Iley accepted God’s call to student ministry and currently leads the youth ministry at IRPC. He enjoys being active, cooking, mechanics, fishing, attempting to surf, and exploring the world with his wife, Rachel.
Meribeth was born in Cincinnati Ohio, and was raised on the mission field in Haiti, Bolivia and Guatemala. She Graduated from Indian River State College, after meeting her husband Hank in high school. Together they have several businesses and two daughters, Brittany and KelliAnn. After working in the children’s ministry of Grace Emmanuel Church in Port Saint Lucie, she felt led by God to come to IRPC, and has been here since 2005.

Alicia was born in Miami, Florida and moved to Ft. Pierce at the age of five. She attended college in Gainesville, Florida and moved back to St. Lucie County to pursue a career at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center, where she still works part-time as a Medical Technologist. Upon moving back she married David Wallman and they have three children, Lauren, Robyn and Sean. She has helped out in the Children’s Ministry for the last 10 years, but really accepted God’s call in 2007 to devote herself to Children’s Ministry.

Lynn was born in Martinsferry, Ohio but came to Fort Pierce when she was 6 months old. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Florida Atlantic University and served in various positions in the education system for many years. She and her husband David, have three children Alyse, Matthew and Abigail. She enjoys her family, time at the beach, movies, dinner and small groups at the church.

Melanie earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from Florida Southern College and is an accomplished vocal performer and pianist. Before coming to IRPC, Melanie was Director of Music at First United Methodist Church for 11 years, as well as teaching music at Savannah Ridge Elementary. Melanie has also performed with the Treasure Coast Opera Society and now leads our choir and other groups in leading the congregation in worship.
Gwen was born in Philadelphia, Pa. and her family moved to Boca Raton when she was 8. Gwen moved to the Treasure Coast in 1985. In 2000, she received her AA degree from IRCC. She is grateful that God put her in the right place at the right time to begin working at IRPC in June of 2005. Gwen has three children Caitlin, Lee Thomas and Alex. Phyllis was born in a small town in southern Georgia; when she was 7 years old her family moved to Melbourne Florida. A graduate from Barry University, she retired from Florida Power & Light after a 32 year career. Phyllis and her husband Mike retired to St. Lucie County in 2002 “escaping” from Palm Beach County. They have 2 children, Michelle and Erica, and two grandchildren Jaclyn and Carmen. Phyllis enjoys cruising, gardening, reading, fishing, bible study groups, and family times.
