Transitional Pastor Bryan L. Wenger
Rev. Bryan Wenger was born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. He attended Grove City College, completing his Bachelor’s in Accounting and later meeting his wife, Jean. In 1998 he responded to God’s call into ministry, graduating from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary with a Master’s of Divinity Degree. After pastoring Upsala Community Presbyterian Church in Sanford, Florida, Bryan became the Associate Pastor at IRPC in 2007. Bryan enjoys spending time with his family and playing basketball. He and Jean have 4 adopted children Nicole, Brendan, Ally Joy and Brett.

David Hancock: Director of Community and Discipleship AND Director of Mosaic Worship
David was born and raised in Saint Lucie County. He attended the University of Florida where he received his bachelors in Business Management and is currently enrolled in Reformed Theological Seminary where he is finishing up a Masters in Divinity. David and his wife Alyse (who is also a Fort Pierce native) have recently welcomed to the world a baby boy, named Cruz. David has a passion to see the Gospel lived out in communities that are seeking the renewal of their neighbors, surrounding communities, and the city as a whole.

J. Iley Harrison – Director of Youth Ministry
Joshua Iley Harrison was born and raised in Panama City, Florida. He attended the University of Florida, where he completed a bachelor’s degree in music education. He has taught elementary music appreciation class and middle and high school choir in two school districts. Most recently, he has held the position of music teacher at Lawnwood Elementary school. Iley accepted God’s call to student ministry and currently leads the youth ministry at IRPC. He enjoys being active, cooking, mechanics, fishing, attempting to surf, and exploring the world with his wife, Rachel.

Meribeth Sterrett – Director of Children’s Ministries
Meribeth was born in Cincinnati Ohio, and was raised on the mission field in Haiti, Bolivia and Guatemala. She Graduated from Indian River State College, after meeting her husband Hank in high school. Together they have several businesses and two daughters, Brittany and KelliAnn. After working in the children’s ministry of Grace Emmanuel Church in Port Saint Lucie, she felt led by God to come to IRPC, and has been here since 2005.

Alicia Wallman – Children’s Ministry Assistant
Alicia was born in Miami, Florida and moved to Ft. Pierce at the age of five. She attended college in Gainesville, Florida and moved back to St. Lucie County to pursue a career at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center, where she still works part-time as a Medical Technologist. Upon moving back she married David Wallman and they have three children, Lauren, Robyn and Sean. She has helped out in the Children’s Ministry for the last 10 years, but really accepted God’s call in 2007 to devote herself to Children’s Ministry.

Debbie Freifeld – Office Manager
Debbie was born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina. While living in SC, she was employed for over 15 years as the Executive Assistant to the Vice President of Johnson & Johnson Mgrs. Inc.. She married her husband, Ken, in 2000 and moved to Port Saint Lucie, FL with her daughter Erica. She began working at IRPC in January of 2001. Debbie is a member of Westside Baptist Church. She enjoys fishing, shopping and spending time with her family.

Melanie Justice – Music Director
Melanie earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from Florida Southern College and is an accomplished vocal performer and pianist. Before coming to IRPC, Melanie was Director of Music at First United Methodist Church for 11 years, as well as teaching music at Savannah Ridge Elementary. Melanie has also performed with the Treasure Coast Opera Society and now leads our choir and other groups in leading the congregation in worship.
