Growth Ministries
As part of our Worship + 2 Model, we recognize that everyone needs to be involved in a ministry that will foster their individual growth in their walk with God. We offer many opportunities for growth, and provide groups throughout the week differing in age and interests to help meet your needs. We encourage everyone to find a growth ministry that fits their life and walk with God.
Weekly Growth Opportunities
- The Christian Fellowship Class – meets in room 202 from 9:30 to 10:30am Sundays. This class uses a Presbyterian Curriculum studying themes explored by Presbyterians throughout the nation. This class is an excellent way to stay connected. Click here then select Church Office for more information.
- Pairs and Spares – meets from 9:30 to 10:30am Sundays in room 107 and is a group that loves to learn from God’s Word and each other. Leadership rotates to keep the class fresh and inviting. Click here then select Church Office for more information.
- Small Groups – Meet once a week usually in homes, with food, discussion and prayer. Contact Associate Pastor Beth Allin for more information.
- Life Transformation Groups – are groups of the same gender who meet with 3-5 people each week to increase depth of sharing and exploration of God’s Word. Contact Associate Pastor Beth Allin for more information.
- Youth Ministries – are for students looking to develop a closer relationship with God. Middle school students meet Tuesdays at 7pm and High school students meet Wednesdays at 7pm at our West Campus, 1780 Hartman Road, Fort Pierce. Contact Iley Harrison for more information 772-464-4263-ext. 104.
- River Kids – is a growth ministry for elementary school students to learn more about God’s word. They meet on Sundays and have worship and teaching geared towards children. Contact Meribeth Sterrett or Alicia Wallman for more information.
Other Opportunities
- FAST Track - stands for Fellowship and Study Tuesdays. This is a 4 week study series (twice a year) with a variety of classes offered by Pastors and members alike. For more information click here then select Church Office.
- Date Night – An opportunity for all couples to focus on the health of their marriage or dating relationship. After appetizers at 6 pm, a speaker gives advice, and childcare is provided from 6-9 while you and your significant other go out to dinner. Date Night occurs every quarter. - Presbyterian Women – There are a variety of circles which meet for growth and service once a month; visit their page for more information.
