Love God, Love Others, Make Disciples

Local Mission and Service Partners

Local Mission and Service Partners

Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others.  1 Peter 4:10
We partner with and support the fundraising events of many local organizations. We hope that anyone who attends our church, or any church for that matter, finds a place to worship; a small group or ministry that will help them grow; and somewhere to serve.  Just as when Jesus encountered a new disciple, He would immediately engage them in a level of service appropriate for their spiritual maturity.

Care Net Pregnancy Center of the Treasure Coast
Care Net is a locally organized and funded outreach which provides a variety of free services and programs to meet the needs of our clients and of the community. IRPC participates in several fundraisers for them throughout the year – 5K Run, Walk for Life, and Baby Bottle Boomerang.

2016 IRPC Crop Walk Participates!
Crop Walk
Every February walkers from our church and their financial sponsors join the community to raise funds to end hunger in the United States and around the world. CROP Walk is sponsored by Church World Services. One quarter of the funds raised stays in Fort Pierce to help support Mustard Seed Ministries.

Habitat for Humanity
Several folks at IRPC are actively involved with the outreach program St. Lucie Habitat for Humanity. Most recently we have been working in collaboration with several churches on a project called Apostle Build.

Hopes Closet 4 Children @ Graceway Village
Each Wednesday, we have volunteers who help out at Hope’s Closet 4 Children. Hope’s Closet 4 Children provides gently-used clothing for children, age birth to 17. A community program offered at Graceway Village in Fort Pierce.

Matthews’s Cafe @ Graceway Village
Every Sunday, volunteers help prepare and serve meals at Matthew’s Cafe, a part of the program at Graceway Village in Fort Pierce. Graceway Village is a community outreach organization whose mission is to equip under-resourced Treasure Coast families to live in total mental, physical, spiritual, emotional, and economic health. Additionally, our Youth raise funds on “Souper Bowl Sunday” each January to benefit the ministry at Matthew’s Cafe.

60 volunteers from our church join 200 others out at Missionary Flights International to pack meals for Feed My Starving children. Over 26000 meal packs were filled, sealed and crated for shipping to Haiti in 2 hours! That will feed 173 children for one year. Thanks to all who came out to help.
< MFI – Missionary Flights International
“Standing in the Gap” is the slogan for MFI – an organization whose mission is to provide full air support ministry to Bible-believing affiliated missions. In 2014, our volunteers were a part of 856 people, from other churches and the community, who came together to pack enough food to feed 533 children for an entire year as a part of Feed My Starving Children efforts! There are many service opportunites available, see the MFI volunteer page on their web site for more information.

Love’s Calling is on a mission to serve those who are “called” to the mission field by our Lord and Savior. They do this by providing a fundraising link between “Senders” or those who can provide support and the “The Sent” or those who are “called” to the mission field.  For more information see the Love’s Calling website.

Operation Christmas Child
Since 1993, more than 100 million boys and girls in over 130 countries have experienced God’s love through the power of simple shoebox gifts from Operation Christmas Child. Samaritan’s Purse works with local churches and ministry partners to deliver the gifts and share the life-changing Good News of Jesus Christ. IRPC has been privileged to be a part of this with many of our members packing boxes each Christmas and acting as a relay and consolidating station for area collections.
