Our ministry model is called "Worship Plus Two". The idea is that spiritual maturity comes when people are engaged in worship, a growth ministry and a service ministry. Often times however, churches portray an image that you come to worship for awhile, then you get involved in education opportunities and then you get involved in a ministry once you have become "educated".

But this is not the way Jesus approached making disciples. Once Jesus had interaction with a person, he immediately engaged them in service, sometimes before they even became Christians. Jesus made sure that the service was appropriate to their level of spiritual maturity.

Our hope is that everybody will be involved in worship, in one weekly growth ministry such as Small Group or Sunday School, and be involved in some form of service in and through the church. The importance of "Worship Plus Two" is to equip each person to grow in their own spiritual maturity.  

We want everyone to feel and know that they are welcome to be a part of our church family; regardless of membership, IRPC will make every opportunity possible for all to become mature and loving disciples of Jesus.
